Registration Information

• There are three ways to register: (1) Register online using your credit card; (2) Download and print the Registration Form, complete it, and mail it to SDRC along with a check for your deposit; (3) Register by phone at 828-622-7112.
• The retreat per diem of $70 per night includes 3 meals per day and lodging in a shared room, dormitory, or tent site. Dana is encouraged for both teachers and SDRC.
• The balance of your retreat fee is due upon arrival. We accept checks, Visa, MasterCard, and cash. Cash or checks are much preferred to save SDRC credit-card processing fees.
• Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel, please do so as soon as possible so that others may register in your place. If you cancel more than 30 days before the retreat begins, we will refund your deposit minus a $35 registration fee. If you cancel within 30 days of the retreat start date, you will forfeit your entire deposit.
• Switching to a Different Retreat: SDRC will charge you a non-refundable $35 fee to switch your registration to a different retreat within the 2010 season. While switches can be made up to 30 days before the starting date for a retreat, we encourage you to make the switch as early as possible.
• Scholarships: To apply for a scholarship, check the scholarship box on your completed registration form and pay the $35 scholarship registration fee.

• Confirmation and driving directions will be sent by email within 3 days of our receiving your completed registration form and deposit.
• Meals are vegan with some dairy options. SDRC encourages retreatants to make the center aware of special dietary needs at the time of registration, but cannot promise to accommodate such needs. The center encourages those with food allergies or special dietary needs to bring their own food, and to make prior arrangements with the center for storing any food requiring refrigeration.
• Retreats begin with orientation at 6:30 pm on the first day and end with the mid-day meal on the last day. You may check in any time after 2:00 pm on the first day. Plan to arrive before 6:00 to settle in, and before dark. If late arrival is unavoidable, please let us know ahead of time when to expect you.
• Rides to and from the Asheville Airport can usually be arranged with either a local volunteer, airport limo, or SDRC providing transportation. In the latter case, we will ask you to pay a $60-fee to SDRC to cover the roundtrip cost.
