Patty Daniel

Patty Daniel (Won EunHaeHwa, she/her) is a North Carolina native and longtime practitioner of Won Buddhism. Patty was introduced to meditation through a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course in 2000. She has been a practitioner at the Won Buddhist Meditation Temple in Chapel Hill, NC since 2007 and has since been leading daily morning meditation, serving as a lay teacher, and offering regular dharma talks. Patty has traveled three times to South Korea, the birthplace of Won Buddhism, to study the roots of the tradition. She was appointed President of the North Carolina temple in 2013.
